02 · CAPABILITIES
Four domains. Real depth.
Whatever the format — Checkup, Project, or Operator mandate — the work happens in one or more of these four operational domains. We've built genuine depth in each, often through decades of personal practice. We don't claim breadth we can't back.
MANUFACTURING · QUALITY · LEAN
Manufacturing, Quality & Lean
Manufacturing is where most of the operational pain in cross-border industrial businesses surfaces — and where most of the visible improvement is created. Our practice combines decades of senior plant-floor experience across automotive (OEM and Tier 1), industrial manufacturing, injection molding, tire and rubber, chemical, packaging, pharmaceutical, and home appliances.
We work the same way Lean was originally meant to be practiced: as a daily discipline at the place where value is created, not as a slide deck or training program. We coach teams in shopfloor management, build quality systems that hold up to audit, run supplier development programs that change supplier behavior, and lead production planning and ramp-up work that has to land on a deadline.
WHAT WE DO
- Operational Excellence programs · Lean transformation · Kaizen
- Shopfloor Management · daily management · visual management
- Quality systems · ISO 9001 · IATF · 8D · structured problem solving
- Supplier development · APQP · PPAP · supplier audits and ratings
- Production planning · capacity modeling · ramp-up · turnaround
- Plant-floor coaching for managers and team leads
WHEN IT FITS
- A US plant is missing quality, delivery, or cost targets and the parent company is losing patience.
- A new manufacturing site is ramping up and ramp-up curves are slipping.
- Supplier quality issues are causing line stops and the supplier base needs structured development.
SUPPLY CHAIN · LOGISTICS · AI
Supply Chain, Logistics & AI Operations
Supply chain and logistics are where European companies operating in the US most often realize the operating model they brought from home doesn't quite work — and where the cost of that mismatch shows up first. We design supply chain flows that work end-to-end across the Atlantic, fix the bottlenecks that have already formed, and build the operational systems behind them.
Our approach to AI is pragmatic. We use AI where it actually shifts measurable metrics — forecasting accuracy, exception handling, document processing, planning quality — and we ignore it where it's fashionable but doesn't move the needle. We've also done the unsexy work that makes AI useful: cleaning master data, structuring exception flows, defining the KPI logic the model is supposed to optimize.
WHAT WE DO
- Supply chain design · network modeling · S&OP · inventory strategy
- Logistics & freight · transportation · warehousing setup
- 3PL selection · contract negotiation · service level frameworks
- Cross-border operations · customs · duties · trade compliance setup
- AI-driven operational systems · forecasting · automation · exception handling
- Master data quality · KPI design · operational reporting
WHEN IT FITS
- A European parent is launching US distribution and needs a logistics network designed and contracted from scratch.
- Service levels to US customers are slipping and the existing 3PL or supply chain isn't fixing it.
- Leadership wants to use AI in operations and doesn't want to be sold a pilot that goes nowhere.
IT · INFRASTRUCTURE & SECURITY
IT Infrastructure & Security
When a European company sets up in the US, the IT decision usually gets made twice: first by accident — somebody picks a cloud provider, somebody else opens a Microsoft 365 tenant, somebody else signs a 36-month contract with a managed service provider — and then again, painfully, when leadership realizes nobody owns the architecture and nothing is integrated.
We make sure it gets made once, properly. We build a security baseline that holds up to scrutiny from the European parent's IT team, set up identity and device management that scales with the company, and run the day-to-day IT through a single point of contact instead of through three vendors with overlapping invoices.
WHAT WE DO
- M365 tenant setup · identity management · device enrollment
- Managed security · patching · compliance posture · audit prep
- Single point of contact · helpdesk · ticketing · bilingual support
- Network and cloud infrastructure · architecture · cost optimization
- Vendor-independent strategy · IT roadmap · budget planning
- Migration support · M&A integration · tenant consolidation
WHEN IT FITS
- A new US entity is being set up and IT decisions need to happen alongside legal incorporation.
- An existing US operation has accumulated three IT vendors and one of them needs to go.
- The European parent IT team can't fully support US operations and a co-managed model is needed.
SAP · ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS
SAP & Enterprise Systems
Few subjects create more friction in cross-border industrial operations than SAP. The European parent runs a heavily customized landscape that took two decades to build. The US subsidiary has different needs, different data structures, and different reporting requirements — and is often expected to fit into the parent's system without complaint.
We've delivered SAP work on both sides of the Atlantic for close to three decades. We guide the landscape decisions (one tenant or two, S/4HANA migration timing, cloud or on-premises), run day-to-day SAP operations with proactive monitoring, build the custom integrations that make the system fit the business, and deploy plug-and-play accelerators in finance, supply chain, and material management when off-the-shelf is the right call.
WHAT WE DO
- SAP consulting · landscape design · S/4HANA migration
- Operational support · incident response · proactive monitoring
- Custom development · ABAP · third-party integrations · EDI
- Plug-and-play accelerators · finance · supply chain · material management
- Training programs · key user enablement · change management
- Cross-border integration · multi-tenant strategy · master data harmonization
WHEN IT FITS
- An S/4HANA migration is on the horizon and the US side has been treated as an afterthought.
- Day-to-day SAP support is slow, reactive, and the team is firefighting instead of improving.
- An integration between SAP and a third-party system (WMS, MES, EDI partner) needs to be built or rebuilt.
We don't take on work outside these four domains. When a mandate calls for something else — finance, HR, legal, marketing — we say so and recommend partners who do that work as well as we do ours.
Operations, native on both sides.
